As you may already know, my stop in Paris was as confusing as it was disappointing, but still, I got the chance to be my amazing clumsy self and almost got my cousin in trouble!
It was my second day in Paris, and the first day I was going out to visit the city. My cousin and her roommate had gone to work in the morning and I was preparing to go out. I was unhappy with my clothes, since I only had a small bag with about 2 shirts I was sick of already! And I decided to ask my cousin some borrowed clothes because I remembered she always has nice stuff. As she said yes to my question, she also said her wardrobe was the one next to the door. Now it is important to say that the wardrobe was something very modern and it was inside the wall and it was weird, so the only thing I could identify as a wardrobe was the one with the doors open. I began investigating the clothes to see if those were from my cousin or not. And after a while of not liking anything on me, I ended up with a nice shirt that was large, just the way a like it, and comfy!
I was already out and eating some fries at McDonalds at 11 am (and then I complain about my weight...) when my cousin sent me a message asking if I had found some clothes I liked and I told her about the one I was wearing. And the mess began! Apparently I had brought a shirt from my cousin's roommate and she was not a person to mess with when talking about her clothes. My cousin went nuts, even told me to not take any pictures or her roommate could find out.
My cousin had to rush out of work - meaning instead of staying at the hospital saving people's lives, she was coming to meet me because I had borrowed her roommate's clothes - and meet me. She appeared stressed out, and made me take of the shirt in the middle of the street to change - YES it was raining, YES it was cold and YES I was pretty much naked in the streets of Paris for about 5 seconds!
End of the story, her roommate never found out, and hopefully she will never read this post or I'll probably get in a lot of trouble.
